The River Centre

The River Centre is a prestigious, state-of-the-art venue, ideal for major conferences, exhibitions, product launches, training events and meetings.

Located in the centre of historic Tonbridge, The River Centre offers some of the largest and most versatile facilities in the south east of England. Just a few minutes from the A21 and within a fifteen-minute drive from the M25, M20 and M26, The River Centre is easily accessible by car. We offer complimentary secure parking for up to 94 cars on-site, and there are numerous additional public car parks within a few minutes walk.

The railway network offers five trains per hour and a journey time of just forty minutes from London to Tonbridge mainline train station (a five minute walk away); similar services also operate from Ashford International and the South Coast to Tonbridge.

On the first floor, the modern Main Auditorium (seating 750) provides a fully integrated audiovisual system and an impressive stage. Adjoining, is a self-contained meeting room, which may be used for hospitality or preparation by conference speakers.

The Ground floor (with over 400m2 of adaptable space) is ideal for exhibitions and large meetings as well as for smaller gatherings using high quality movable walls dividing the space into soundproof meeting rooms. Both floors offer abundant natural light or blackout if required.

Fully air-conditioned and accessible with a lift onto the 1st floor and the stage, you'll find the right facilities fitted to give your delegates a warm welcome and an enjoyable experience. Infrared assisted-hearing headsets and induction loops are also available to individuals who might be hard of hearing.
