The Barbican Theatre, designed to the Royal Shakespeare Company's own specifications, is the ideal performance environment.

Although seating 1150 people, it is an unusually intimate space with no seat more than 20 metres from the stage.

The Theatre is exceptionally comfortable with generous leg room and excellent sight lines. The acoustics, which more than meet the standards of the Royal Shakespeare Company, are outstanding.

In conjunction with the Hall and Theatre, the conference suites and cinemas can be used for break outs and smaller meetings whilst the foyers of the Hall and Theatre provide the ideal setting for buffet lunches, catering for up to 1989 people.

For high profile conferences, the prestigious Barbican Hall and Barbican Theatre are the perfect venues.

40Hz - 150Hz variable active crossover (in control room) continuous SPL  @ 1 metre 127dB driven by Lab Gruppen 2000's receiving 1kw into 4Ω

There are approximately 200 mic lines situated around the stage, the number available depends on the position of stage lift and orchestra pit.
Control Area:
  Located in control suite at rear of stalls. Approx 200 mic tie lines appear in control area as GPO 'B' gauge balanced jacks. All desk inter connections are via GPO 'B' gauge balanced jacks (TRS). Adaptors are available to connect extra outboard equipment
Mixing Desk
'E' series CADAC mixing console with:

controls for gain, phantom power, 15dB pad, each lift, 10 aux sends
