The Barbican Conference rooms offer extremely versatile, well-equipped meeting space for seminars, presentations, focus groups and press conferences, accommodating 10 to 170 delegates. At the heart of the Conference Floor are two, flat-floored suites with sound-proofed sliding partitions providing generous space for larger meetings. Alternatively, the suites can be divided in to six separate rooms to provide the privacy and focussed atmosphere required by smaller groups. The rooms are contemporary and stylish with calming colour schemes, recessed dimmable lighting and comfortable, ergonomically designed, chrome framed chairs. The rooms also benefit from air conditioning and plenty of natural daylight. The conference facilities also include a spacious, dedicated boardroom. At its centre is the versatile 'Congress' table flanked by comfortable leather armchairs. The table can be adapted to various configurations in minutes and allows presenters to choose a room layout totally appropriate to their needs. The Boardroom and the Conference rooms are situated on the same floor as two of our three presentation cinemas, offering additional flexibility for syndicate sessions and easy transitions between meetings. To complement these facilities, there is a reception area adjacent to the suites, which provides a range of business facilities including phones, fax, photocopying and a cloakroom. And, whatever your conferencing needs, the Barbican management will be on hand at every stage to ensure your event runs smoothly and efficiently.
