Video Conferencing now available throughout CCT Venues
14/07/2011

CCT Venues has upgraded the industry-leading audio-visual facilities across its three London venues to include the option of video conferencing from any room.

This state-of-the-art technology allows companies to easily extend meetings, training sessions and conferences to include colleagues in other locations.

CCT Venues' Managing Director Caroline Bull commented: "We're very pleased to be making this technology available throughout our venues, adding to our already unbeatable package of quality, convenience and value for money. The low environmental impact of video conferencing aligns perfectly with our environmental responsibility and sustainability policy."

CCT Venues three venues are in key London business districts at Canary Wharf, Barbican and Smithfield. Each offers a great mix of training, conference and meeting rooms.

CCT Venues open for breakfast
10/07/2011

Following successful Breakfast Open Mornings in all three of the company's venues, CCT Venues is planning to hold four more open house events in 2011. Visitors enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by on-site chefs and are invited to view the comprehensive facilities on offer.

Events held earlier in the year have been a great success. At CCT Venues-Canary Wharf, visitors toured the company's newest conference and training venue and enjoyed breakfast in the stunning waterside terrace restaurant.

Those attending CCT Venues-Barbican ate in the top-floor restaurant overlooking London landmarks and explored the newly refurbished ground floor suite of this conveniently located city venue.

Meanwhile, those who chose breakfast in the large open plan restaurant at CCT Venues-Smithfield were delighted to view this unique Grade II listed building with its beautiful wrought-iron windows.

Future open house events will be announced on CCT Venues' website at www.cctvenues.co.uk. Special offers will be available to all attendees.

CCT Venues launches new look, with an eye to the future
01/07/2011

CCT Venues is proud to unveil its new corporate branding – with a new corporate website to match. “As a business we’re always looking forward,” says Managing Director Caroline Bull, who founded the business six years ago. “So we felt it was time to bring our communications up to date.”

An evolution rather than a revolution, the new corporate branding retains CCT Venue’s distinctive pink and purple colour scheme, but introduces a cleaner, fresher, more modern logo style.

Launched in July 2011, the logo is complemented by a brand new corporate website. This shows off the company’s stunning venues in Smithfield, Barbican and Canary Wharf in a rolling slideshow of striking, large-scale images. There are also virtual tours of many of the key spaces in each venue.

“The new site offers enhanced navigation and better positioning of offers, promotions and news,” says Mabel Chung, Marketing Manager.

The website includes detailed information on the company’s three high-quality training, conference and meeting facilities: CCT Venues Smithfield, CCT Venues-Barbican and CCT Venues-Canary Wharf. Located in London’s major business districts, they are able to host anything from a half-day meeting for five people to a conference for 400.

CCT Venues shines out in Clean City Awards
08/04/2011

CCT Venues is officially one of the most environmentally responsible businesses in London, according to the 2010 Clean City Awards. Organised by the City of London Corporation, this awards scheme encourages good practice in waste management across the Square Mile.

One of just 10 top-performing sites in its category, CCT Venues secured a prestigious Platinum Award. Presented by the Lord Mayor of the City of London during a ceremony at the Mansion House, the new award recognises CCT Venues strongly improving track-record. The company won a Gold Award in 2009 and a Merit Award in 2008.

Chosen from over 1650 sites across the City of London that range from small shops to large multinational companies, the winners represent best practice in waste minimisation, reuse and recycling initiatives. Awards are based on site visits by inspectors and documentary evidence submitted by the entrants. In addition, the in-depth Platinum Award Application Form probes issues such as staff communications and the reduction of smoking-related litter.

The Platinum Award reflects the hard work of CCT Venues' staff in minimising the environmental impact of the company's three training venues, two of which are located in the City. Responsible waste management is just one strand in the company's broad-ranging environmental policy.

Facilities Manager Marika Dekker says: "Everyone at CCT Venues should be very proud. This is a BIG step up from last year's Gold Award and two steps up from our Merit Award in 2008. Next year we're aiming for the ultimate prize - the Chairman's Cup!"

Launched in 1994, the Clean City Awards Scheme aims to recognise and reward good practice in waste management. There are three levels of awards (Merit, Gold and Platinum) across three categories of sites (Small, Medium and Large). The Chairman's Cup is awarded to overall winners following a presentation and questions from the panel.

CCT Venues celebrates five years of success
31/03/2010

It was the year David Tennant was named as the 10th Doctor Who, Andy Murray made his Wimbledon debut, Charles and Camilla tied the knot and London was awarded the 2012 Olympics. 2005 was also the year CCT Venues opened its first building in Smithfield.

Celebrating its fifth birthday on 14 April 2010, CCT Venues-Smithfield has built a reputation for offering high-quality training, conference and meeting facilities at a convenient city-centre location. The venue, which is housed in a Grade II listed building, was extensively refurbished in 2009. While the interiors may be brand new, many of the clients are old friends: more than 30% have been using the company’s services since it first began.

Growing demand for CCT Venues’ services saw expansion over two more stunning sites. After the success of CCT Venues-Smithfield in 2005, CCT Venues-Barbican followed in 2006. CCT Venues-Canary Wharf opened in July 2008 and was extended in February 2009.

Founder and Managing Director Caroline Bull puts CCT Venues’ success down to “an unbeatable package of convenience, quality and value for money”. The company has versatile facilities ready to host anything from a half-day meeting for five people to a conference for 275. Offering state-of-the-art presentation facilities and superb catering, their buildings have even been used as film locations, audition studios and party venues.

The company is celebrating its anniversary with a special offer to clients. For a limited period only, CCT Venues is offering 2010 services at 2005 prices!

Starring role for CCT Venues
09/09/2009

Waterfront terraces at CCT Venues-Canary Wharf feature in a glamorous new TV commercial starring top model Lily Cole. Hired by a world-famous cosmetics company and their advertising agency, the venue was chosen for its stunning views of London's iconic skyline.

CCT Venues-Canary Wharf played host to a team of around 40, including models, make-up artists and technicians. Experience of running training, conferences and meetings meant staff were ready for the challenge of providing for a busy and demanding crew. The venue opened at 7.00am to give maximum time for filming.

With a look that is urban, cool and stylish, the cosmetics firm found CCT Venues-Canary Wharf the perfect setting for its ad. Watch out for the finished commercial, which is on air and online now.

CCT Venues celebrates prestigious business award

December 2008

There were smiles all round as CCT Venues received a ‘Highly Commended’ award at Archant London’s 11th annual Thames Gateway Business Awards. 600 local business people watched CCT Venues take second prize in the hotly contested Growth category.

It’s first time lucky for CCT Venues, who only become eligible to enter the awards when they opened their Canary Wharf venue earlier this year. CCT Venues had to satisfy the judges they had demonstrated exceptional business growth by answering a series of searching questions.

The glitzy awards ceremony, which celebrates successful businesses in the region, took place on Friday 21st November 2008 at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, just a stone’s thrown from CCT Venues-Canary Wharf. The Thames Gateway Business Awards is organised by regional media business Archant and sponsored by NatWest.

CCT Venues-Canary Wharf is the company’s newest acquisition. It offers 14 bright and airy rooms, as well as spacious terraces with river views, and can cater for up to 275 delegates.
