" Summer Ball On behalf of GAN, I wanted to send you a huge "thank you" to you and to the Imperial College London Team. The success that GAN enjoyed at the 10th Anniversary Ball on Saturday 6th May was a direct result of the good humour and professionalism that we encountered from Imperial in the run up to, and during, your event. Our budget, as you know, was quite meagre, and we relied very much on small details in order to impress the guests. The flexibility shown by Imperial.....is a brilliant example of how supportive you and your team were of our efforts. I apologise for the delay in writing. We wanted to wait until we could let you know that the 6th May amde just over £9,000. This is wonderful news for GAN, thank you again for helping us to achieve this. "

" Three Day Residential Conference On behalf of the Society I would like to express our gratitude for the efforts of you and your colleagues in helping to make our meeting last week such a success. The venue was just right - the conference facilities and the location - and the Beit Hall accommodation also was greatly appreciated. The catering was probably the best I have encountered going to EHRS meetings over many years. I am sure that you managed to impress those of our international contingent who had misguided views about English Food. From the start our relationship with the Conference Office has been excellent and your professionalism gave us great confidence that everything would work out all right in the end. The conference staff on-site were also very competent and several of the delegates and exhibitors spontaneously remarked on the high quality of support that they received. Please pass our thanks to them. Next year the EHRS holds a joint meeting in Vancouver with the American and Japanese Societies but 2006 at Imperial College will be hard to beat."
