The Harrogate International Centre, equipped to the highest international standards, has a fully air-conditioned auditorium seating 1977 in a single raked tier. The technical equipment is of an equally high standard and includes broadcast and interpretation facilities, luxurious bar, banqueting facilities and VIP suites.
The Centre is linked to eight purpose built exhibition halls with a total gross area of 16,500m - Hall Q provides 1752m (nett) of shell scheme space, interconnected with the main foyer by twin escalators. The Queen's Suite, which opened in February 2005, offers organisers one large breakout room, seating a maximum of 600 theatre style or up to 10 smaller individually soundproofed rooms.
Harrogate's Royal Hall, a stunning Edwardian theatre restored at a cost of 810.7m and reopened by HRH The Prince of Wales in January 2008, offers a seating capacity of just over 1,000. The `glittering palace of gold' is suitable for banquets, conferences, concerts and shows.
A second period venue is the art deco styled Sun Pavilion set in Grade II listed gardens. This venue is suited to a wide range of events from recitals, seminars, exhibitions and new product launches to weddings, anniversaries and business networking.
Major hotels, eateries and after hour haunts are within a few minutes walking distance of each other and the exhibition halls.
