The Caledonian Club is a 'little part of London that will remain forever Scottish'. Founded in 1891, the Club is aptly situated in the grand and beautiful surroundings of Belgravia and only five minutes away from Hyde Park and Victoria.
The building was originally built as a private mansion for Hugh Morrison, a politician and wealthy land owner, but now it houses some of the most elegant interior design in the area. The immaculately maintained private rooms have been enhanced with the latest technology to offer a banqueting and meeting facility which is second to none. Whether it be an international meeting, gala dinner, charity reception or even a more informal barbeque the Caledonian Club brings together the elegance of the past with the sleek service of the present.
In 2006 HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh opened the new wing, '9A Halkin Street' which compliments the original building in every way and offers the most demanding business guest or event organiser an exciting range of executive accommodation, meeting and event facilities coupled with an excellence of service to ensure we deliver you peace of mind.
The Club interior mirrors the characteristics of a 'wee' Scottish Castle, thus providing the back drop for a beautiful and memorable wedding. With rooms licensed for up to 200 people for wedding ceremonies, the grand sweeping, ornate staircase, the outside tranquil terrace and our traditional reception rooms we can provide the perfect venue for a day and an evening which you will never forget. Weekend use of the Club's facilities ensures exclusivity for you and your guests.
