Macdonald Hatherley Manor offers an array of six individual event suites which are ideal for Weddings and Banquets for up to 300 guests.  Five of the suties at the hotel hold a civil marriage license
       

  • Hatherley Suite has private entrance, lounge and cloakrooms accommodates up to 300.
  • Moat Suite has a traditional feel with natural brickwork and holds up to 150. 
  • Mulberry Suite overlooks the front lawn boasting plenty of daylight ideal for up to 150. 
  • Redwood is a regency room with bay windows seats up to 25.
  • Oak room has original oak panelling and a Jacobean fireplace, for up to 18.

Our largest suite presents itself with high ceilings and chandeliers, encompassed with its own exclusive reception lounge and cloakrooms for the most elite event.
In our largest suite the maximum capacity for a wedding ceremony is 300 guests and 250 for a reception. 

 Moat
A most discerning room, enhanced by its naked original brickwork, unfolds into the beautiful unique walled garden.  Wedding ceremonies for up to 150 guests are ideal in here, with Receptions for up to 110 guests.

 Mulberry
Located at the front of the manor this suite boasts superb views across the lawns and is commended with a profusion of natural daylight.  This suite seats up to 150 guests for a Wedding ceremony and 110 for a reception.

 Redwood
A refined regency room complete with bowed windows looking out to mature trees and a splendid stone fireplace.  40 guests is the number that can be accommodated for a ceremony or 22 for a reception.

 Oak
Aptly named, this suite features genuine oak panelled walls along with a distinctive Jacobean fireplace.  Perfect for intimate gathering, 25 for a ceremony or 16 for a meal.

Dewinton Restaurant
The historic oak beams and contemporary décor of the Dewinton Restaurant provides wonderful setting for a wedding reception for up to 60 guests.  This suite is available exclusively until 6pm.

 Accommodation
 All of the newly refurbished 52 en-suite bedrooms are complemented with tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, iron and board, complimentary bottled water and our unique Scottish biscuits.

 We offer a selection of rooms; Standard bedrooms, Executive rooms which are spacious with additional guests amenities, our Superior Room is a luxurious oak panelled room with a period feature fireplace and the Four Poster Room is located in the bow of the old house, oozing elegance and luxury.

  Civil Marriage Ceremonies 
 Hatherley Manor has a civil marriage license, which allows for marriages to be conducted here in any of our five suites.  The hotel for the marriage room will levy a room hire charge, which includes two floral pedestals arrangements in the colour of your choice.  This is exclusive of the Registrar’s fee.

 A deposit payment of £500.00 is required to confirm your booking.  Payment of 50% of the estimated total cost to be received by the hotel 3 months prior to the date of the wedding.  Final payment is required 14 days in advance of the wedding.  All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
