Relax in one of our 68 comfortable bedrooms with many having views across the lakes or gardens and woodlands. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, minibar, direct dial telephone and remote control television with satellite channels.

Spend a while exploring the historic gardens and breathtaking landscape. Heckfield Place boasts an enviable arboretum of very rare conifer trees from around the world. In the Victorian period, it was famed for its terraces and walled garden. During this period William Walker Wildsmith was Heckfield's famous head gardener. Through his work and determination he succeeded in changing the views on garden design and Victorian flower beds forever. Much of the garden has been asleep since the death of Wildsmith in 1890. However, through the dedication and passion of our head gardener, a lecturer with the Royal Horticultural Society, it is now being transformed back to it's former glorious appearance.
