Description
The Internationally famous Adelphi Hotel is a luxurious and superbly appointed hotel in the very heart of Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008. Just 3 minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street train station and within easy motorway reach via the M6 and M62, the Adelphi is premier hotel in Liverpool for business, leisure or shopping. All of the 402 bedrooms and bathrooms have been totally refurbished while retaining their character.

The elegant public areas and banqueting halls have been faithfully restored to provide stunning facilities for up to 800 guests. The hotel's new stunning leisure centre caters for every need in its cool wood, steel and glass interior, while the original white marble pool has been refurbished and modernised. When venturing out, the shopping centre, Albert Dock, The Beatles Experience and the excellent museums, art galleries and theatres are all within walking distance.

The hotel originally dates back to 1826, but was extensively rebuilt in 1912 to cater for passenger's from large cruise liners, whose home port was Liverpool. Namely all the White Star Line ships, who were based in Liverpool, the most famous of which was the Titanic. Indeed the Sefton suite in the hotel is an exact replica of the Smoking Lounge aboard the Titanic.

The Britannia Adelphi Hotel, located right in the heart of Liverpool, has a wide and varied selection of function rooms to suit any Conference Organisers requirements. All function rooms are individually themed with ornate décor and beautifully decorated ceilings. The main Banqueting Suite can seat up to 850 delegates theatre style and with 12 additional conference rooms we can cater for between 2 and 1500 people for a varied selection of events and conferences.

With Theatre style Conference set-up now being increased to 1200 delegates and our Banqueting numbers going up to 1,000 diners in the one function room , we are the largest Hotel Banqueting House in the City. Due for opening April 2008 , we will be pleased to arrange a visit for anyone who may be interested and woud like to book.
