Working with Mta International, a leading provider of training and development materials, Center Parcs have introduced a range of exercises ranging from ice-breakers to half day challenges focussing on skills such as communication, leadership, delegation and planning. The exercises utilise specially developed MTa equipment consisting of polypropylene components which can be used for a large number of exercises suitable for small groups or larger numbers. Facilitators on each village have been trained in the effective use of the equipment and in providing feedback to the participants.

These new activities complement the existing wide range of indoor and outdoor activities offered at the Center Parcs villages. These activities range from physically and mentally challenging events to stimulate team work to fun events such as school sports days or relaxing activities such as spa sessions.

The choice of activities is now so varied that a dedicated team building brochure ‘The Natural Place for Team Building’ has been launched by Center Parcs who offer conference and events within the natural settings of their 400 acre villages.

Center Parcs Put Event Organisers In The Picture at Elveden Forest

In an attempt to enable event organisers to see for themselves the conference rooms offered at Elveden Forest, Brandon, without even visiting the site, Center Parcs have produced a CD Rom of 360 degree photographs of the conference suites.

The CD Rom contains extensive photography of the facilities at all three of their UK villages, including Elveden Forest, which offer dedicated conference centres branded ‘The Venue’. The extensive photography has been used to create both a self running and interactive tour where users can enjoy a ‘walk through’ tour of the extensive facilities. It also incorporates detailed room plans and capacities and photography of the accommodation, team building and other village facilities available to delegates.

‘Event organisers who have not seen our facilities first hand often find it difficult to envisage the standard and range of conference and banqueting rooms we can offer.
