Launched last summer as an events and weddings venue Hedsor House offers you a private and peaceful setting to hold your meetings and events. Set in almost 100 acres of glorious parkland there are many opportunities for you to have an event inside and outside the house. Only 27 miles from Central London and 14 miles from Heathrow, and with a 1km drive way few other venues can offer such exclusivity, privacy and potential. Hedsor House is a venue offering flexibility for many different types and sizes of events from small meetings to corporate fine dining events to large family fun days. The team at Hedsor are experienced in running events and have worked within the events industry for many years. Our experience is on hand to help you and we understand that every event is different and that not one package suits all. Therefore we have created various options for you to choose from which include Daily Delegate Rates, Room Hire Rates and Exclusive Hire. Our DDR's can be tailored to your requirements, room hire is available and clients can bring in their own catering, and our exclusive hire offers you a "blank canvas" opportunity to create your own design and styling. For exclusive use hire we have a number of partners that we work closely with and can advise on these according to your budget and requirements to help create your perfect event. History of Hedsor House: References to the Manor of Hedsor can be found from 1166 when the Estate was owned by the de Hedsor Family. Various owners resided here until the estate was acquired in 1764 by William Lord Boston, equerry to the Prince of Wales who was living at Cliveden. In 1775 Frederick, 2nd Lord Boston designed a new house with the help of King George 3rd and Queen Charlotte who were close friends and frequent visitors to Hedsor Lodge as it is then described in prints at that time. This house was badly damaged by fire in 1795 and eventually demolished in 1865. A new house completed in 1868 and, unusually, modelled on the Italian Villa style but with a domed hallway rather than an open courtyard. Hedsor House remained as the Boston's magnificent stately home until the early 20th century. Queen Victoria was said to be a frequent visitor to the house and it's beautiful surrounding parkland.
