The Holiday Inn Fareham-Solent is situated only 5 minutes from junction 9 of the M27 motorway, 8 miles from Portsmouth and a 20-minute drive from Southampton Airport. You can enjoy your day with a swim in our pool or a workout in the gym. We can hold meetings for up to 120 banquet-style in the contemporary Abbey Suite. We also have smaller meeting rooms to suit all your needs.

Our restaurant is open from 0630 till 2100 during the week, and 0700 till 2100 weekends, serving your breakfast, lunch and dinner, should you wish. Remember that kids under the age of 12 eat and stay for free. Why not grab a Starbucks to take away with you too?

We can host a meeting or event for guests up to 140 in one of our 4 meeting rooms. Our events team would be able to assist you with all your needs.

Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park is around 30 minutes away, as is the New Forest, where you will find the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Also, around that area is Bucklers Hard Master Builders where the ships were made for Nelson's fleet. Gunwharf Quays and West Quays are equally around 20 minutes away too, if you fancy a little retail therapy.

Waste
Since 2017, we’re proud to have removed 2 million pieces of single-use plastic per year, continuing to exclude them from the supply chain where possible.
We have already switched over 70 products from single-use plastic to recyclable or compostable materials, with a view to increase this further.

Energy
100% of the electricity we consume is sourced from renewable energy.
The majority of our hotels have a combined heat & power (CHP) production unit which reduces emissions by up to 30% and is recognised by the government as an energy efficient device.
Over 50% of the light fittings we use are LED, with the continued rollout focussing on car parks and lobbies where lights can burn resource for many hours.

Travel
75% of our monthly business reviews now take place online. We also conduct screening interviews virtually and communicate without travel whenever possible.

Partners
We undertake rigorous assessments of existing and proposed partners, auditing modern slavery, WTD and fair pay, environmental credentials and DDA compliance.

Supply chain
All existing and proposed new suppliers are asked to provide a CSR statement or policy outlining their approach to sustainability and progress on reducing their impact and/or contributing to the community.
