Prestwold Hall

A magnificent stately home, located close to the M1, Nottingham East Midlands Airport and Loughborough rail station. Prestwold Hall offers an unparalleled range of facilities for conferences and corporate events. The Hall can seat up to 100 delegates for a conference, or 200 for a gala dinner, however smaller groups can be accommodated just as comfortably. A signature of Prestwold Hall is that we only offer exclusive use of the venue, i.e. only one event will take place on a given day. The landscaped gardens and parkland provide an ideal setting for team building activities, whilst for the more adventurous we have extensive facilities for motor racing, which are run in conjunction with Everyman Motorsports. The magnificent house was largely remodelled in 1843 by William Burn and has been the home of the Packe Family for 360 years. The first Packe to occupy the Hall was Sir Christopher Packe, later a Cromwellian Peer and one of the city men behind Oliver Cromwell. The house contains many interesting features including a considerable amount of marbled Italian plasterwork, some fine 18th Century English and European furniture and a large collection of family portraits from Sir Christopher Packe to the present day.
