The Belgrade is ideally located in the heart of the 2021 City of Culture, Coventry. And in the heart of the UK, just 80 minutes by train from London or 120 minutes from Manchester.
Parking is just a few steps away at the adjacent NCP car park with other parking options available within walking distance of the theatre.
The Belgrade is within walking distance of Coventry railway station, a 15 minute train journey from Birmingham International Airport and a 10 minute drive off the major motorway networks M6, M1 and M40.
Unlike other venues, at the Belgrade Theatre we don’t just hire you a venue space, we offer a complete package to suit your needs.
In addition to room hire we have AV, lighting, sound and stage technicians, set and costume services, catering services, customer service professionals and box office staff all ready to make sure your event runs smoothly.

The Belgrade Theatre was the first civic theatre to be built after the war and was opened in March 1958, part of a large-scale re-development of the City of Coventry.
Now an English Heritage grade II listed building, the Belgrade acquired its name in recognition and thanks for a gift of timber from the Yugoslav city of Belgrade that was used extensively in the construction of the auditorium. Holding 858 seats in its two-tier auditorium, the theatre remains one of the largest regional producing theatres in the country.
