The Custard Factory

Located just  mile from Birmingham City Centre, The Custard Factory is made up of a unique collection of compelling buildings which form inspiring backdrops to all manor of events. The facilities provide organisers with the ultimate location for quality events ranging from conferences and product launches to awards dinners and cocktail receptions for up to 1200 guests. Events' spaces at The Custard Factory site include: The Old Library, Space 2, The Factory Club, Kitchen CafB, Ornamental Lake, The Theatre, Vaad Gallery and the newest addition, opened 2008, The Arches. The Arches undertook a 81 million renovation creating a unique landscaped outdoor event space which works in perfect conjunction with the adjacent venue Space 2. Space 2 is a 1200 capacity venue, formerly a working industrial factory, it has been lovingly restored to form the largest event space at The Custard Factory. The Old Library was built in 1850 and was one of four free libraries in Birmingham. In 2001, The Space Foundation was given funding to renovate, bringing The Old Library back to life.
