"This venue for me has one of the best operations teams I have ever worked with in the business. We have returned to this venue for a large event in October for the past four years and the service and food I can honestly say has always been fantastic. From the pre-event support with Jessica McGregor getting the final details together, to the amazing Sharon who runs Royal Armouries Hall operationally and Raz who runs New Dock Hall they are on it constantly and you never have to chase. This venue are strict with risk assessments and sometimes with being a visitor attraction also are limited to what they can do, but because of this they do what they can very smoothly. A well oiled machine they are and when organising a large event you need to know the staff have got your back and that they have!"

"You guys were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Charlotte - it was a pleasure working with you on the lead up to the event, it was so good to work with a venue who are on your side and try their best to help you with everything as opposed to operating as two separate entities. I really felt like we were one team throughout. You are fantastic at your job and that really showed compared to some venue contacts I work with. Raz – Before the event I was a little worried that I would be dealing with an event manager that I hadn’t spoken to pre event as I had only been dealing with Charlotte. However when I met Raz I felt more than comfortable that he knew the event from start to finish, he was amazing! Anything I asked for was completed pretty much minutes after I had requested it. When we were running ahead of time during the awards (I couldn’t believe it either) he was so accommodating for speeding up service were we could and getting courses out quickly. Please pass on my thanks to the chef for this too. Martin – the way Martin handled everything to do with drinks service was impeccable! The cocktails went down an absolute treat and when I asked if the angels from VM could stay after the event for a drink he obliged so willingly without any issues. You can tell he genuinely loves his job and is fantastic at what he does. The way he acted with Clare & Anna during the menu tasting etc was brilliant. Mark Sellers – I didn’t have too much to do with Mark onsite but anything I asked for (like content to be put on the foyer screens) was completed so quickly with no dramas. Pete fed back that during the rig Mark was brilliant and nothing was an issue for him. Matty – was amazing on the bars and so willing to help me with anything, whenever I asked for an update on the account bar spend he got the figure straight over to me within minutes. Sharon – Handled the pre-dinner area brilliantly with such a quick turnaround time. All of the waiting staff were fantastic too, never have I ever had to actually ask for service to be slowed down because it was too quick and efficient!! If I asked anyone anything they didn’t know the answer to they offered to go and get Raz or Matty straight away for me which was brilliant. The drinks service using the order sheets ran so smoothly. The food and drink service always worries me on an event and you guys absolutely nailed it, it was so slick and smooth. I have had lots of feedback already that the food was amazing, both from my staff and the delegates. Please pass my thanks onto all the team & overall I would love to work with you guys again, I was so pleased with how the event ran & thank you so much for all your help. "
