Conference venues in Chesterfield

Chesterfield is a market town home to one of the largest open-air markets in Britain and is the largest town in Derbyshire (with the city of Derby being the largest settlement). Perhaps the most famous landmark in the town is the crooked spire. This spire on top of the church of saint Mary is built twisted and leaning and so gains the name crooked. Chesterfield football club has gained the name Spireites due to this landmark.

Linked to the M1 motorway chesterfield is ideally situated on the British motorway network. Chesterfield railway station has regular trains on the Midland main line to London, Sheffield, Leicester, Birmingham and most major UK cities. The town is ideally located for travel from most places in the UK, any international delegates attending your conference might have to touch down at east midlands or Manchester airports and travel by road or rail to the town. The Olde House Trading Post Pub offers a function room and a meeting room. The function room can hold up to 150 and the meeting room can hold up to 50 guests. The building itself is an old Victorian farmhouse built in1648 which has since been converted into a pub. There are 12 bedrooms available for booking if some guests need accommodation.
